Easy-Peasy Pinto Beans

This is my super easy, super tasty, and super cheap version of pinto beans.

Feeds 6-8 people as a main course.

Crock Pot Method:
Using a 6-quart crock pot add:
2 lbs dried pinto beans, sorted
1 14oz-ish bottle of salsa - your choice on the heat and brand.
Borrach or Pinto Bean seasoning, use the instructions to season 2lbs of beans.
Fill to the top with water, place the lid, turn on high and leave on for about 8 hours.

Stove Top Method:
Have the same ingredients as above.
Read the bean package and use the quick soak method.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot of beans.
Cook on medium-low until done - make sure it doesn't run out of water.

Additions:
Like most of my recipes, you can change it to make it fit your tastes. Here are some ideas to add to the beans either before or after cooking:
Bacon (raw if added before cooking / cooked if added after cooking)
Ham pieces
Sauted Onions
Roasted Garlic
Cooked ground beef (make sure to cook it first to prevent excess grease in the beans)
